The following are what to expect when you arrive at our office for the first time. Your first visit will usually last about 60 minutes, so please plan accordingly.
Paperwork Completing the paperwork will help us get to know you better and the problems that trouble you. Every question asked is very important, so please fill all paper work out in FULL.
Consultion You will meet Dr. Sherman who will review your history, explain how we will handle your case, go over finances, and answer any other questions you may have.
After your consultation and history review the following will be performed or scheduled:
X-Rays Necessary views may be taken to visualize the location of any spinal problems, reveal any pathology, and make your chiropractic case more precise.
EMG An EMG is performed to evaluate how well your nervous system is functioning and to give you and the Dr. a visualization of your problems.
Examination Standard physical, orthopedic, neurological, and chiropractic tests will be performed to determine the cause of your problems.
Following your work up, Dr. Sherman wil then review your records, x-rays, emg, and examination findings to determine if care is warranted or if a referral is needed.
You will be schduled for a Report of Findings, so he can discuss your case in detail by reviewing your findings, let you know if he can help you, what his recommendations may be regarding the length and frequency of care, what your care entails, and any costs involved including what your insurance may cover.
· If Dr Sherman accepts your case, your treatment will then begin and you will be on the road to Better Health!
