X-rays also provide us a picture of the bio-mechanical issues that are occurring in your spine, so you can understand more fully as to why you are experiencing your complaints.
EMG An EMG is performed to evaluate how well your nervous system is functioning and to give you and the Dr. another way to visualize what is occurring with your spine and nervous system.
Examination Standard physical, orthopedic, neurological, and chiropractic tests will be performed to determine the extent of your condition, where the problem is originating, and where treatment needs to be focused.
Following your work up, Dr. Sherman will then review your records, x-rays, EMG, and examination findings to determine if he can help you or if a referral is needed.
You will be scheduled for a Report of Findings, so he can discuss your case in detail by reviewing your findings, let you know if he can help you, what his recommendations may be regarding the length, duration and frequency of care, what your care entails, and any costs involved including what your insurance may cover.
