Meet Dr. Jon Sherman - After graduating from Rowan University in Southern New Jersey with 13 years of college education in his pocket, Dr. Sherman attended Life Chiropractic College in Marietta, Georgia where he received his Doctor of Chiropractic Degree (D.C.) in December of 1999. Having family in the area, Dr. Sherman decided to set his roots right here in Panama City, and he began practicing in February of 2001. He purchased an existing practice in Panama City and opened a beach office in October of 2001. Dr. Sherman's goals have always been to develop a Dr's office that caters to the patients by treating them like family and not like a number. Dr. Sherman is married with 3 beautiful children. He practices numerous techniques including Full Spine Diversified, Thompson (Drop), Activator, Toggle Upper Cervical, Gonstead, and S.O.T. among others. His care is individualized based on the patient's symptoms and physical health.
Meet Dr Amy - Dr Amy was born and raised in the small community of Celina, OH where her parents still reside. She began her college education attending Miami University where she earned her Bachelor of Science degree with a minor in Nutrition Studies. She then decided to pursue her passion in the healthcare field and attended Life University where she received her Doctor of Chiropractic (D.C.) degree in 2011.
Dr Amy decided to relocate to the beautiful Gulf of Mexico, where her husband, Sam, was born and raised. In October of 2013 they were blessed with a beautiful baby girl, Braylee. Dr. Amy sees a variety of patients including families, pregnant women, pediatrics, seniors and athletes of all ages and believes that one’s optimal health and quality of life can be achieved through regular chiropractic care.
She practices a wide array of adjusting techniques and enjoys creating a personalized treatment plan based on each individual’s needs. These techniques include: Diversified, Thompson Drop, Full Spine, Activator, Flexion/Distraction and Extremity adjusting. Dr. Amy especially loves seeing women during pregnancy and pediatric patients since the birthing process is so traumatic to the mother’s pelvis as well as to the newborn’s spine. Dr Amy is currently pursuing her Diplomat in Pediatric and Prenatal Care. Dr. Amy joined Panama City Chiropractic in late 2014.
Meet Dr. Shores – Dr. Jonathan Shores, D.C. was raised outside of Marianna in Jackson County, FL. He holds a Bachelor’s degree in Health Science from the University of Florida and received his Doctor of Chiropractic degree from Palmer College of Chiropractic in Port Orange, Florida. In the spring of 2011, Dr. Shores moved to Bay County, FL to begin his career focused on quality patient care.
Dr. Shores utilizes a comprehensive, neurological approach to treating patients which involves creating a picture of each patient and their particular health concerns. Relying heavily on a thorough diagnostic evaluation, Dr. Shores combines neurological and orthopedic testing with nutritional and functional assessments to determine the most appropriate care plan for each unique circumstance. Dr. Shores blends his chiropractic treatments with nutritional and lifestyle changing advice, providing his patients with all the tools they need to get the most out of their treatment.
Outside the office Dr Shores enjoys spending time with his wife and son, along with exercising, bass fishing, and Gator football.
